Alvaro Pelaez and Lourdes Rojas opened Gallo Felix in 2011. We both came from families with experience in the restaurant industry and wanted to continue the tradition of giving excellent service to our customers. We wanted to bring something unique for our community and that’s when we came up with the idea of having Charcoal Chicken with Tortilleria. A Tortilleria is a Mexican Tortilla Machine that is used in Mexico to make fresh homemade tortillas to the public. We wanted to bring this to New Brunswick and in the future to other towns. Our Chicken is seasoned with our secret family recipe and cooked to perfection with charcoal and wood only. Through the years we have been adding other menu items such as Gorditas, Chicharron, Spicey Pork Ribs, Spicey Chicken etc. We promise to bring our food industry knowledge and experience to our current and future customers.
